Hanim, Mufaviz and Shafiu appointed to FAM ExCo

Male', MALDIVES - The Executive Committee of Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has appointed former national team manager Mohamed Hanim, Maziya CEO Hussain Shafiu and Club Eagles general secretary Mufaviz Hashim as members of the ExCo.

A reliable source has confirmed to Maldivesfootball.com that the decision was made on an Executive Committee meeting last week. As per the statutes of FAM, the Executive Committee can appoint members for the vacant posts and they should be approved in the next congress.

With these three appointments, the Executive Committee includes; Bassam Adeel Jaleel as the President, Ahmed Shakeeb as the Senior Vice President, Aishath Nazima as Vice President, Mohamed Ali, Muaz Rasheed, Mohamed Shifau, Hussain Shafiu, Mufaviz Hashim and Mohamed Hanim as members.

Football Association of Maldives has sacked three ExCo members more than a year ago due to the failure of attending the ExCo meetings and they were MP Abdulla Ahmed, MP Ali Shah and MP Hussain Shahudhee.
