Ibbe inluded in Maldives squad

Male', MALDIVES - Maldives boss Darren Stewart has named a 25 player squad for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup Qualifier against Palestine. The match is scheduled to play on November 14.

Darren Stewart has recalled TC Sports Club inform striker Ibrahim Mahudhee (Ibbe), who has scored 14 goals this season for the club. Ibbe was included in the national squad for the match against Palestine early this year but was omitted from the national team for the matches against Oman and Bhutan.

The new comers for the national side includes Hussain Shareef from Maziya and Mohamed Azzam from TC Sports. Hussain Shareef will be replacing keeper Mohamed Imran, who has announced his retirement from the international duty after the match against Oman last month.

Maldives lost their opening game in AFC Asian Cup Qualifier against Palestine by 3-0 and won their second match against Bhutan by 2-0. However, Maldives lost their two games against Oman by 5-0 and 3-1 respectively.

Maziya: Mohamed Umair, Samooh Ali, Amdhan Ali, Mohamed Irufan, Ashad Ali, Hussain Shareef

New Radiant: Ahmed Abdulla, Akram Abdula Ghani, Ali Fasir, Hamza Mohamd, Mohamed Rasheed, Rilwan Waheed, Abdulla Ziyazan, Ali Ashfaq, Mohamed Faisal

TC Sports Club: Ahmed Zaad, Hassan Naiz, Ibrahim Waheed Hassan, Mohamed Azzam, Ibrahim Mahudhee Hassan.

Club Green Streets: Shafiu Ahmed, Ibrahim Rizuhaan, Mohamed Saaif.

Thinadhoo: Imran Nasheed, Ahmed Rizuvan
