Maldives team arrives in Dhaka ahead of SAFF Suzuki Cup

Dhaka, BANGLADESH - The Maldives national football team has arrived in Dhaka, Bangladesh for the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018. Maldives left to Bangladesh after a three weeks long training camp held in Qatar.

During the training camp, Maldives played a friendly game and the international friendly against Pakistan was cancelled at the last minute.

Petar Segrt took 22 players to Dhaka however, they were allowed to register 20 players.

SAFF Suzuki Cup is set to be held from the 4th till the 15th of September with Maldives seeded along with Sri Lanka and India. Maldives will play their opening game against Sri Lanka on 7th September.
