Maldives will benefit from SWAFF - Bassam

Male', MALDIVES - Bassam Adeel Jaleel has said that the South West Asian Football Federation (SWAFF) is something very special and something interesting for the Maldives  to look forward to. 

Maldives was a founding member of SWAFF and in a recently published video on SAWFF facebook page Maldivian FA president Bassam Adeel Jaleel shared his thoughts on the newly formed football association. 

speaking about SWAFF Bassam Adeel Jaleel said that it was a great opportunity for Maldives to develop its game and develop the young footballers. 

Bassam was also quick to mention about the footballing infrastructure of the Maldives. He said that it was something the Maldives really required. 

With both FIFA and AFC approving SWAFF many Arab nations and member of South Asian Football Federation have decided to join SWAFF. 

The current members of SWAFF include Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain, Iraq, Maldives, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka,  Bhutan and Nepal.
