Male', MALDIVES - Veteran midfielder Ibrahim Fazeel scored twice against TC Sports to win the President's Cup final match against TC Sports by 3-0 on Friday night.

TC Sports Clubs started the match without their key striker Cornelius Stewart. On the other hand New Radiant started the match with their key players.

In a very balanced first half TC Sports Club missed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock when referee awarded them a penalty kick for a foul committed by Akram Abdul Ghani. New Radiant keeper Imran Mohamed saved the penalty kick from Eissa Elmaghraby.

Abdulla Midhuhath's attempt in the 21st minute was blocked by TC keeper Limbu Kiran.

TC were unlucky to score in the 38th minute when Ibrahim Mahudhee's shot went straight to the gloves of keeper Imran.

Both teams played very well in the second half and in the 49th minute Ali Fasir tested TC keeper Kiran Kumar.

Ali Fasir broke the deadlock for New Radiant in the 67th minute from a penalty kick when he was brought down inside the box.

New Radiant increased the margin four minutes before the normal time after a stunning goal from the veteran midfielder Ibrahim Fazeel. Fazeel changed the score to 3-0 in the additional time from another descent volley inside the box.
