New Radiant General Secretary Ahmed Niyaz Moosa (Ted) said that result and the performance of the team was below than the expectation of the clubs top management.

"Based on the efforts from the top management of the club, the performance and the results are not as expected. But we are delighted with the commitment from the coach." Said Niyaz.

He also reiterated that they will appoint a new coach within this week.

Recently New Radiant has signed a deal with midfielder Ibrahim Fazeel (Oppo) and Ali Ashfaq in their effort to strengthen the squad.

Pathetic decision by the management. NRSC are second place in the Male' League, with the top 4 progressing to the Dhivehi League. For goodness sake, it's only 10 games in! What sort of a backwards club sacks their coach after only 10 games? NRSC does not deserve coaches of his calibre, because they don't know how to treat them right. If they were in maybe Valencia's position then I may have agreed with this decision, but this was braindead. NRSC should accept that coaches, especially foreign ones, require time to build a proper team. But instead, they are just treating them like disposable gloves.
