Mohamed Umair has returned to New Radiant by signing a contract with the club for next season.

Umair played for Maziya for the last 3 seasons after leaving New Radiant in 2015, and was one of the key players of Maziya for the past 3 seasons. In the last 3 seasons, Umair won the Presidents Cup, Dhivehi Premier League and Male’ League with Maziya.

Umair was an important player in the record breaking 2013 season of New Radiant, which saw the club lift 3 trophies with a 100% record.

“I got a very good offer from New Radiant. The coach has a good plan. I believe I can achieve further success with this team.” Umair said speaking to Mihaaru Online.

New Radiant has retained key players from this season such as Akram Abdul Ghanee, Ahmed Abdulla (Lily), Rilwan Waheed (Riley) and Spanish midfielder Candela.
